it was a nice day so I thought I just swing by the Ducati shop and check for some gadgets and see if the new metal had arrived. Whilst being there I thought it wise to book a time for service. Nothing fancy just a regular check…. or so I thought. The mileage on the bike indicated that it was time for the “big service” meaning they also change the belts for the valves and to top it off the hoops were shagged so better get some new Pirelli’s or something. Then the clutch was starting to slip and make funny noises and of course the problem with misfiring when wet… Turned out that there was a crack in the valve cover and that the rear shock was broken (!). So in a few days she will be as good as new… just me that got 10 years older all of a sudden.

Slow down, capture the moment. The whole thing about riding motorbikes is to enjoy the moment, chill out, enjoy with friends, see nice things and have fun. Be good, do good and good things will come to you.

Jake, Jake, Jake, do not fear when you pick her up again you will suddenly feel 20 years younger again. So in the end you will gain 10 years out of this. 😉
Passion is the mother of all anxiety and the father of all good feelings. Ducati has managed to put it all in one motorized package with the technical finesse of a shotgun in a scrapyard but with the looks of an umbrella girl in promotion tights. So, what would life be without passion ?

Gretings from Paris, talking about getting lost.
By the way your lady is Italian? I herard that they are expencive…….
Alohamora!
You bet she is Italian and it is true what they say… “pleasure and pain follow Italian women” She is still in the workshop with even more spare parts on their way but I am sure the result will be AWESOME!
