Born in a small suburb outside Gotham City Mugglarn started early with everything. Motorbiking has always been one of his passions. At 12 years of age Mugglarn had already a Husqvarna Silverpilen from 1953 which he stole from an uncle that lived near Bollmora. In his early teens he aquired a 1955 Horex Imperator which he entered as a “wild card” in the 1970 Isle of Man race and came first in his class. Bitten by the race bug he sold the Horex and bought a 1971 Laverda 750 SFC and entered the same year in the Barcelona 24 hours Battle where he finished last but met up with a beautiful señorita from La Garriga (which incidentally is a small village not far from the race track) but had to escape from the local police on a stolen Benelli Turismo from 1953 which he later sold to a gypsy from Falköping that he met in Bordeaux. Without wheels and haunted by the urge to race he won a bet while on the ferry to Dublin and obtained the keys to a 1954 Norton Manx which he immediately took to the Isle of Man and crashed it on the first lap. Disillusioned and disappointed he returned to Sweden on a Brig working as a decks hand and for the salary he bought a Zündapp KS 750 with a sidecart and rode it all the way across the Atlantic to Bonneville Salt Flats where he set a new speed record. With lady Fortuna at his side it was only natural for him to accept the role of caretaker and guardian of the pearl white Yamaha 1300 that had been seriously mistreated by the former owner (Jake) – however a complete restoration has brought it back from the brink of extinction.
