Here is his own story from the big event. We salute you!

at first I want to say thank you for the upgrade of my Lost Rider status. It’s a great honor for me. This was a good motivation for a trip and The plan was, to send a few nice pictures from the Alps. But it was a bit different. As so often. It was Sunday, the 17.06.12 when I decided to have a little trip. I started in direction south to Kaufering. From there, I took the country road to Landsberg. From Landsberg, I drove to Weilheim. There I had the idea to drive down to Murnau. I thought, it would be cool to have a picture from my little Suzi with the hospital where I had to spend a few month in background. The little Suzi was working well and the leg was also fine. So what. But when I came closer to Murnau and so to the Alps, the sun was hidden behind clouds and the sky turned more and more into gray. Due to the fact, that I had no rain equipment, to be correct, none, I decided to turn west. So I had the rain on my left side and was driving parallel to the bad weather. And what a surprise, that worked. The sky was still gray and the Alps covered in clouds, but it was dry. But when I reached Schongau, the leg starts to hurt. So I was heading home. With every kilometer, pain was inceasing. And I was more than happy, when I reached home. Lesson learnd. 100 km distance is fun but the limit. In total I made 140 km, but that’s to much. But I will try to improve.
All the best and have nice rides
