it is done! Beyreuter in Oberaching did their thing and Melanie sorted all the administrative hurdle with the local government to get the bike registered back to me. In the meanwhile my license plate was used by someone else so I got a new tag. NC67 is kinda catchy, sort of the stuff that you find sewn on a racing jacket.

The whole thing was decided and sorted in 48 hours but upon return the battery was depleted so I had to get a charger. One shop wanted 100 Euro for a charger when the shop next door asked for just 300 EUR for the same device. For once I did the right thing !
