The Sportster is an iconic bike however small and underpowered it delivers unless you take it for too long rides. Not sure what a “too long ride” would be but I know if I stay in the district and stick to slow cruising and back roads plus a reasonable amount of posing then it is a good day. positive surprises are things like the extremely low fuel consumption, the low insurance and the genuinely compact biking experience.
