But, after almost 30 years on the road I think it&#8217;s very reasonable for the dampers to ask for some TLC. Martin noted that one of them was leaking oil and that was the sign for refurbishment. It will cost around 4&#8217;000 SEK to have it done by an expert but to get a new set of \u00d6hlins would set us back some 17&#8217;000 SEK&#8230; and then the bike would no longer be original, which is the way I want to keep it. So now we are just waiting for some news from the workshop when the shocks are ready so we can fit them back on to &#8220;WhitePearl&#8221;.
